Born in Philadelphia, The Jive play rock & roll with a taste for big hooks, loud guitars, and a little bit of trouble. Drawing from the swagger of the British Invasion and the grit of American garage rock, with a healthy dose of power pop and soul, their sound is melodic, raw, and never quite what you expect.
Built around catchy choruses, infectious melodies, and a no-frills rock & roll attitude, The Jive believe a great song should get under your skin and a great show should leave you wanting more. They respect the classics without trying to recreate them, bringing their own energy, personality, and unpredictability to everything they play with one important quote that has become a motto in mind "play it like you mean it."
